Dinner plate made from a special material called Cordalit, from the Scandic collection—which won a gold medal at an international competition in Faenza, Italy, in 1972. The collection was designed in 1969 by Swedish designer Hertha Bengtson for the West German brand Thomas (a subsidiary of Rosenthal).
